Phuket Hotel News: Phuket’s famous Fitness Street is entering a bold new chapter with the launch of a 2.7 billion baht wellness-focused hotel and residence development that promises to reshape the island’s hospitality landscape. Aceller Property Co Ltd has officially unveiled Aceller Hotel and Residence at Soi Ta Iad, a large-scale mixed-use project that blends a four-star hotel with branded residential units in one of Phuket’s most dynamic year-round tourism zones.

In announcing the project, executives revealed to Phuket Hotel News that the hotel will be managed by Wyndham Hotels and Resorts under the TRYP by Wyndham brand, marking the first introduction of TRYP into Thailand. The move brings an internationally recognized hospitality name into Phuket’s rapidly expanding wellness corridor, reinforcing confidence in Soi Ta Iad’s long-term growth potential.

A Prime Location on Fitness Street

Soi Ta Iad, a 1.577-kilometer stretch in Phuket City, has evolved into a globally recognized fitness destination. Home to more than 30 specialized training centers, including Muay Thai camps, strength conditioning gyms, yoga studios, and rehabilitation facilities, the area attracts over 100,000 visitors annually from Europe, the United States, Russia, the Middle East, and across Asia.

Despite approximately 3,000 existing accommodation units nearby, average occupancy remains strong at 75 to 80 percent throughout the year. During peak seasons, rooms are often fully booked, with daily rates typically averaging around 3,000 baht and climbing to as high as 5,000 baht during high demand periods. These figures underscore the sustained appetite for long-stay, purpose-driven travel in this micro-market.

Thailand Debut of TRYP by Wyndham

The hotel component will operate under the TRYP by Wyndham brand, known internationally for its vibrant, urban-inspired style that caters to modern, active travelers. The brand’s entry into Thailand is viewed as a strategic milestone, elevating the standards of service and global visibility for Soi Ta Iad.

Aceller Property executives believe the partnership will not only enhance guest experience but also strengthen investor confidence, as the project uniquely combines hospitality operations with condominium ownership opportunities in the heart of Fitness Street.

Designed for Active Living

Set on nearly seven rai of land, the development will comprise 752 units along with a three-story clubhouse. Unit sizes range from 29 square meters for studios to 50 square meters for two-bedroom layouts, with prices projected between 92,000 and 100,000 baht per square meter. All units will be fully furnished.

Facilities are designed around an Active Wellness Residence concept, including three swimming pools, a half-Olympic training pool, a sloping jogging track, landscaped gardens, and dedicated fitness spaces for private and group training. Hotel-standard services and 24-hour security further enhance the lifestyle offering.

Pre-sales for the first phase begin March 13, 2026, with construction expected in the third quarter of 2026 and full completion targeted for late 2029.

The project reflects a broader shift in Phuket’s hospitality market toward longer stays, health-focused travel, and integrated lifestyle investments. By combining global hotel management, residential ownership, and purpose-built wellness facilities in a proven high-demand location, this development is poised to strengthen Phuket’s reputation as a leading international wellness hub and set a benchmark for future projects across the island.
